Interactive Folktale Theater
Ingrid Bohn provides a great selection of stories for any occasion where you want your guests to engage, participate, and connect. She invites you on a delightful journey to different and exciting worlds through intriguing tales and fables. Her energetic portrayal of many characters includes voices, accents and descriptive imagery to introduce the beauty of all cultures. Ingrid loves bringing to life multifaceted characters whose unique personalities aid in the understanding of cultures that span the globe. Role playing is encouraged by way of lighthearted and playful audience participation. The relaxed atmosphere provides the participants with creative freedom to express their thoughts and emotions through story. Ingrid firmly believes interactive storytelling can enrich each child’s life by providing them with the confidence to build strong character and foster self esteem.
Story Stew Workshop
People have been bringing stories to life for thousands of years in different ways. All of these different ways help us to see the story being told. We follow along on a fabulous journey in our minds by using our imagination. Writing a story takes work and practice. In my workshop you will learn the different pieces needed to create a story. First I tell a story. After I tell my story, the audience and I will create our own story, step by step, by going over the questions a writer has to answer before starting.
***This workshop is best suited for grades 3 thru 5***
My programs can be custom built to suit all ages and stages. I would be delighted to tailor a program to suit your needs.
1/2 hour programs for toddlers and preschool
45 minute programs for schoolage
Let me create a storytelling program just for you and your special occasion. Any theme you can dream up is doable.
